HPBA Publishes Annual Report 

The Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association (HPBA) is pleased to announce the publication of its Annual Report, which highlights significant progress, financial achievements, and strategic initiatives to support the hearth, barbecue, and outdoor living industry.   • HPBExpo Growth: Achieved an 18% revenue increase since 2022 through updated programming, the inaugural Ultimate Awards Ceremony, and enhanced exhibitor protections. 
  • Advocacy Victories: HPBA’s advocacy efforts led to notable victories, including overturning an ASHRAE addendum threatening vent-free room heaters, passing fuel-choice legislation in Nebraska, and blocking forced electrification bills in Maryland.   
  • Financial Recovery: Eliminated $600,000 in post-pandemic debt over the past 20 months, developed new revenue streams, and maintained disciplined expense management, setting a strong financial trajectory. 
  • Enhanced Member Engagement: Strengthened retailer relationships and business opportunities through expanded year-round member benefits, enriched HPBExpo programming, and coordinated advocacy efforts with HPBA affiliates. 
  • Commitment to Industry Growth: Focused on workforce development, advocacy in codes and standards, and providing resources like insurance and industry research, engaging members to address challenges such as solid fuel New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) and fuel choice issues. 

Strategic Vision
